I know his plate was F40 HOT, I'd give his name but one must respect friends and the law. No idea who bought the car but it was fitted with a factory semi race performance kit. It had what I could only call a giggle button, which was a three way switch down to the lower right knee roll area. The positions were 370 - 480 - 580 which requires little further explanation. It was the single most bonkers car I've ever ridden in by far and it had the sound to suit.
Now I'm just another boring also ran lol.

The reason I asked, is because there is only on 97 GTR (It's the longtail) that's been LM kitted, and it was sold at an auction pretty recently...
But once again, I won't let knowledge get in the way of a random forum poster...

That Daytona rep really was waaaaaay scarier than the E-Type at speed. It was completely planted, and really was effortlessly belting along, but I was always mindfull of just how much it weighed and how long it would take to finish crashing in an accident!
E-Type was fantastic though, single best car I've driven. Didn't stop, had no grip, controls were very heavy, it overheated and brake fade was getting horrendous after 3 laps. Wonderful car, just wonderful.
