Fastest SSD just for windows files?

fastest... technically it would be a pcie based drive like the revodrive3, would I spend more than twice the price of a sata3 ssd for one.... probably not.

An m.2/sata express ssd would also be faster than a sata3 ssd as they access pcie for data transfer :)

M.2 would be my choice too but it is early days and not too many boards have a socket for it yet.

I would rather wait for Samsung to release consumer M.2 SSD's before I buy into it. I will most likely make the switch when DDR4 is introduced.

Don't get purchasing the smaller 64GB version, you'll fill it up and think that's fine until you realise SSDs need at least 40% free to maintain their speed.
