no its not! and I'm sure there is a ****** up country somewhere where it is illegal. If you enjoy breaking the speed limit and driving fast on occaision, then what exactly is you point? that its breaking the law......
thanks for pointing that out, I'm glad someone finally told me, I wondered why all these blue flashing lights keep following me around! ;)

I didnt really have a point, apart from pointing out the difference between eating and driving fast, because you came across as not knowing the difference. Breakfast/any meal is a neccessity, well, it is for me anyway. You need to eat, you dont need to drive fast, but you do it because you enjoy it ;)

In a car not owned by me, but driven by me at the time i got up to 187mph indicated and still had a few revs left to play with but no more bottle! (AM DB7GT).
In a car owned by me, 145mph indicated on the speedo (Clio 172 Cup) Just dont anyone tell Gilly!!!!!!!

Dont drive particularly quickly when I'm sat in the tin box, so no "e-bragging" to really be had there.

My RSV has been up at 174 mph indicated, but that was before I changed the gearing front and rear for better acceleration. ;)

Fastest was prob 120 ish in a Escort RS Turbo whilst living in Germany a few years back..

Very rarely go above 100 in the UK, as the loss of my license would be a major bad day out

I once did about 20 mph on my mates BMX in the 80's...it had 'Skyways' so it seemed faster :D

I broke the speed limit on my bike once, actually my landlords racing bike with speed meter. Was an excellent peice of kit, good for about 35mph That'd make a good photo :D

May as well join in as the thread has been bumped. Max I've done is around 80mph (once) on a motorway whilst overtaking. I do my best to stick to the limits, I just don't fancy any marks on my license and a fine for the privilege.

140 in a barried up Rover 75 on the wonderful M6 toll road. Although stopping at the barrier was a problem........
