After discovering and becoming addicted to google video as of yesterday, I have found the video that I was going on about on the "favourite car video" thread. I decided that this video deserves its own thread. I remember my old man putting the video player on and watching this when I was about 9 or 10. This video kickstarted my love for porsche, motorsport and most other car related things!
This is the 89 Ruf CTR "Yellowbird". At the time, it was the worlds fastest production car driving round the ring by Stefan Roser who did this lap in 7:50!! The body panels are made from carbon fibre and only 25 were ever built. Here are some details on the car.

Just watching how Roser handles this car round the track still makes my jaw drop, and lets face it....the 964 turbo is reknown for being a handful to drive!!
EDIT: Extended version: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7007840369175411712&q=ruf&pl=true
same driver, different lap, still impressive!
