Fat Face type clothes shops

Just been looking at the Fat Face Catalogue and really like the indy-style of clothes they sell. I'm particularly interested in getting a decent coat, such as their boarder jacket or travel parka.

Can anyone recommend any other shops that sell these sort of clothes?

If you get their catalouge they have a masive range of stuff for everyone.
River Island sometimes have a few nice jackets and coats.

I find Next a bit too gay....it can't be just me can it? I used to buy from there but a lot less now. I find that places like Topman are also a bit like this - none of the clothes fit me properly either - they're all too tight! I do have broad shoulders but their XL is like a medium I swear.

Deffo is.
I also find their waists out of proportion ot the thigh size, I don't want all of my jeans to be bloody skinny or drainpipe, but apparently I do if I shop there, so I generally don't.

Thanks for the tips guys! Love the clothes at Joe Browns and White Stuff. Next does good stuff too. Some of the stuff at chemicaluk and yukka are a bit too chavvy for me... I'm more interested in the retro style.

In case anyone finds it useful, I came across MandMDirect after some internet searching.

If you want a decent coat, look for something made from natural fibres. Particularly if you're going for a parka, you want something with down filling for warmth.

This:

Main and Body: 100% Cotton
Sleeve Lining and Wadding: 100% Polyester
Faux Fur Trim: 70% Acrylic, 30 Polyester Machine Washable

Says "cheap" and yet it's priced at £140. You can do much better

Maybe Free Spirit, too.
I'm not sure if that's a countrywide company though. Get a 15% student discount in the canterbury one

My sister works at White Stuff, she gets quite a hefty discount for family, so Birthdays and Christmas's have since become an exchange of their goods. Really like their stuff, and being someone who's not too bothered about shopping now get quite excited at the prospect of the shed loads of new clothes that I will inevitably receieve in 5 weeks.

howies are good

worked with fat face for a while and although some of it is good quality most of my stuff from there that i have really used has not survived that well (fly button breaking off, stiches coming loose).
