My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H which uses VIA VT2021 codec..
I have an old SoundBlaster Fatal1ty FPS which is about 8 year old now...
Just bought SP2500 2.1 speakers...
The VT2021 codec seems to do 110db SNR whereas the fatal1ty FPS is 109db SNR...
Is it worth sticking in the old sound card (my mobo onboard is newer)
