I have a creative fatality headset which i use mostly for pc gaming and whatnot. I do however want to use it for my 360. I happen to have a 3.5mm to 1.5mm converter jack (which i know works) which allows me to plug them in to the controller but the mic is apparently garbled. Anyone know if i need another converter or something to allow them to work?

Is it one of those cheap converters? I used to do same thing as you, use my PC mic for xbox with those little adaptors, but they tend to be garbage and break and I had to keep replacing it every other week otherwise I get same issues as you.

Thats the one I had, i remember a lot of the time i had to keep pushing it really hard in to make it stop making weird noises
