Why karma and not fate?
Yes, we are unfortunately locked on a path that has already unfolded an infinite amount of times. We have an illusion of choice, but the choices we make are in fact predetermined by the events and circumstances which preceded the choice-making.
The present is nothing more than our limited perception of time, and as a result we mistakingly believe that the 'future' is yet to be decided, when in fact, we're merely bound to one point on the continuum moving forward a preset path that has already happened, and will happen an infinite amount of times as was decided at the formation of the Universe, and time.

I believe in fate, but I also believe that fate isn't decided until it happens. So therefore, do I really believe in fate?
I don't, I always felt that ER was more realistic.......
