They currently have seasons 1-3 showing for free on Virgin Media on-demand at the moment on 4OD.

I had forgotten how funny that show was.

Also, the episode I watched was from 13 years ago and it seems to have stood the test of time as in it does not seem to have aged at all.

The one I have just watched is them staying in a caravan with Graham Norton - ROFL.

Some great one liners as usual.

Off to watch from series 1.

RIP Dermot Morgan - Thanks for the laughs.

If anyones interested, they are ALL on 4OD online for FREE.

Yeah, Father Ted is amazing!

I went to see Ardal O'Hanlon do stand up a few weeks ago. He'll always be Father Dougal to me. :D

I think Father Ted is utterly brilliant. There can generally be found Father Ted episodes running on a freeview channel most weeks, and I still find myself watching it after having seen most epsiodes so many times.

I venture to suggest it is even better than Faulty Towers.

Both these series probably benefited by only having a small number of episodes - no chance to get tired and stale.

I doubt Father Ted could even get made these days in the UK with all the political correctness carp around. I wouldn't be surprised if the PC morons don't ban some episodes in case Catholics are offended.

Anyone know if there is now now an veto on screening the Fawlty Towers with germans - I know there was talk about it a while ago.

Dermot Morgan's early death was so sad - but if he had lived would he ever have escaped being Father Ted in anything else he did?
