Anyone had or have a pair of these earphones? I'm looking for a new pair around the £30 mark and these looked like a decent pair. I can't seem to find much about them on the net, anyone know of any reviews, or your own personal review?

I'm currently using the Sony MDR-EX71 earphones but the ear buds come off very easily and more often then not find myself searching around on the floor looking for one of them! The sound also seems to fade in and out in one of the earpieces which becomes annoying and may take a minute or 30 minutes to get the sound back.

I'm looking for a pair of earphones with a similar design, in-ear earphones, any recommendations?

Ye the bass is ridiculous, find it difficult making out the lyrics in a lot of my music due to the bass being so loud. It's good for drum n bass though!

I've heard good things about the Sennheiser CX300s and they are available from £25. I'll take a look at the Shure E2c's more expensive as you say at around the £50 mark. Are they really worth an extra £25? I don't mind spending a little more along as i know i'm getting my moneys worth.

watch out there are a lot of fake senn cx300's around, someone posted a site to tell the difference, but 12.50 seems awesull cheap.

Thanks for the heads up! I was a little wary when i saw the difference in price. The cunning little ********.

Can anyone find any reviews on these Fatman Fatfones? I'm not able to find anything! I was beginning to think it was because they hadn't been out (or are not even out) for that long. But it appears they have been out for a while.

I really like the look of them, but i wouldn't mind some info on the sound quality before i go and spend £30 on them. To be honest they seem to be the bog standard ear pieces with the little grey rubbery bits added on the end!

In a word, they are crap.

There are several versions of these things floating around at the moment, afaik Turbosound put their name on some which are basically the same product but in their traditional blue colour scheme.

And yep they basically are a cheapo pair of headphones with some generic canal moulds attached to the end of them, these will help with improving the general sound as the isolation will be better than things like the CX300's

If you are thinking about getting Shure's I would suggest that you try a pair as you may not like the over-ear cable fit or the feel of having a bit of foam fairly deep into your ear canal. :) Although if don't mind it then the -35dB of noise attenuation that you can get makes things so much better, and you also wont have to listen so loud thus protecting your hearing.

Thanks Wii, think i'll stay away from the Fatfones. I'm going to give the CX300's a try.
