Fault diagnosis help needed...

Just built a new system...specs below.

On startup, the case fans kick in, the cpu fan kicks in...but nothing else...no POST, nothing on screen...I probably made a basic error, but cannot see wood for trees...any help would be appreciated...

A little more info...
The POST feature on the mobo stops at C1 (I think that is associated with RAM?) If it is RAM I have Corsair Dominator 4GB DDR2 (2x2Gb) installed in slots 1 & 3.

OK,
Just for info. If you get a similar problem, then 'do the dance' with your RAM i.e. put only one stick of RAM at a time in each of the slots and try to boot...in my case when I removed the RAM from slot 3, the system booted.

Usual IP35 problem. Have you sorted it?

Set your RAM voltage in the bios if you havent already.

Oh,
I'm a noob at all this (steep learning curve). This is a known fault?
I have not altered a thing...would doing as you suggest sort out the problem...I have been given a RMA to return the RAM...pointless exercise if the replacement RAM does the same thing...
