Hey guys,
I bought my iPhone from a guy off another forum (along with the receipt) recently when I tap the screen the screen produces a clicking sound. When I bought the iPhone it has some sort of screen burn which was acceptable but has recently annoyed me more. So I am wondering are these problems covered by warranty? If so can I take it back to O2? The problem is that the guy who purchased it used a credit card and his name is written on the receipt so it maybe a problem pretending to be him.

Thanks.

Hey totally forgot about this thread woops. Totality I didn't get any further with my query as I have been pretty busy with my uni work. Have u enquired about it too?

If I told Apple that I bought it off someone else would they refuse to help me or will they help me regardless? It's quite hard for me to go to a local apple store as I'm at Uni and closes one will be in London (don't have the time to go into London), if my screen has a blob where its darker than the rest of the screen (screen burn?) is that enough to entitle me to a replacement or repair? I'm asking because it probably be easier for me to send my iphone off to get it repaired.

Don't think a jailbroken iphone can call applecare on 202 right? :p My internet skills fail me as I don't seem to be able to find the webpage where I can inquire about whether I can get the iphone repaired based on the screen burn. Whats the chances of getting a 3G iphone as a replacement? My mate told me there is a possibility and this has got my mouth watering at that prospect! :p

Forgot to mention its a jailbroken and unlocked! :/
BTW approximately how long would it take if I took it to Apple Store for them to look at? I go home to London during the weekends so I may be able to take it to the Brent Cross Apple Store.
