Just look for some advice as this is making me go crazy.
Essentially I'm unable to run any directx 10 or 11 benchmarks and games which use dx10 or 11 crash. It locks up the PC, only way to restart is the power button / reset button.
crysis crashes when it loads into the game. The unigine benchmarks crash at the same point everytime. The windows experience index wont complete, the pc crashes on the dx10 geometry test everytime.
All the benchmark or games work fine in dx9 but as soon as I try dx10 / 11 they always crash.
The weird thing is I have been playing bad company 2 and not once has it crashed and locked up my pc, like the others I have listed. I've put my old 4870x2 back in my pc and it is able to run all dx10 games and benchmarks with no problems.
I've reinstalled my OS(windows 7), only installed the dx updates and graphics card drivers and its crashing at the same places.
My cpu / ram etc all back to stock clocks and has made no difference.
I've searched around and found a couple of people with similar issues, but not the same that I've been getting, but not joy so far, everything I have tried has made no difference.
