Faulty 5900x or Motherboard ?

Hi, around week ago put together new build and its been running fine till now it suddenly restarted and board displaying code 90

Its 5900x with the MSI x570 unify board

upon researching the code error 90 seems its either CPU or board at fault

new bios was released yesterday which I flashed and was running fine until today I also did the Q flash to flash the bios again and tried another ram stick

I bought the CPU from Overclockers and the board from another retailer so not knowing whats at fault and to what to send back ? and dont have another CPU to test any suggestions what to do

I would try the easy stuff first, one at a time.

1. Clear Bios, set to defaults.
2. Pull Memory and reinsert
3. Separately try memory
4. Pull any cards and reinsert
5. Pull chip and reinsert.

Done all but 5 will try that

I'll try grabbing my friends ryzen 5 3600 that will confirm it hopefully

I would try reverting back to the previous BIOS first.

Yeah tried that will try ryzen 5 3600 tomorrow hopefully that will confirm its the CPU

Just tried the ryzen 5 3600 and it booted so back goes the 5900x
