Just fitted my brand new PNY 6600GT 128 AGP and it doesnt seem to be working at all. The resolution is terrible and when i try to run call of duty it reverts back to 640x480.

I'm running an Abitf NF7-s, xp2500, i gig ddr ram. It was all running fine with my old PNY 4800Ti.

Any help woul dbe greatly appreciated.

By the way, i have plugged the power lead into it and the fan is running.

Cheers

I submise you have proper Nvidia drivers installed so look in advanced tabs then in left flip out menu look for DEBUG SETTINGS, this is a mirror of the windows EVENT LOG, any errors listed there ?

I already gave you a pointer, you obv aint looked in advanced tabs then left pop out window, thats best I can explain it, if you really go and try again and cant find it, I will upload a screenie.

Hi mate, i have looked in the left pop out window where it says screan adj, display ,mode timing, performance and property settings ets but i cant find any reference to a debug mode?

Thanks for helping but i've looked in every section...unless i just cant see the wood for the trees!

Ok had a look in the debug section and there is nothing there. Going to take the card to my mates and try it in his as he has one already. I think the card is dead.

Uninstall the nVidia drivers through Control Panel

Download Driver Cleaner and boot into Safe Mode. Completely remove the last traces of the nVidia drivers through this

Reboot and install the latest nVidia drivers off their website
