i have tried last known good config, safe mode will not complete even though i can see the hard drive is being accessed still, i can get a An Xp live cd will display the desktop though as this runs off the CD, i reckon it could be a software problem?
but before it failed posting i unistalled GTX driver, as there was corruption on screen not the lines across the screen, but like open dialogue boxs that have note been refreshed and are corrupt Etc (hope that makes sense),
any suggestions or thoughts lads would be great.

Ok well only got it working after doing a repair install, also tried cmos reset but no change, but 4 weeks later the same has happened, and has come up with "code 10" in device manager where the GTX should be and reinstall driver dosn't work + Vga in safe mode dosn't do a thing, i was gonna swap it out with a X800xt to confirm the card failure anybody else got any other ideas or had the same code 10?

Cheers
