So my computer started bluescreening constantly and after eliminating all the devices that it could be I'm left with the motherboard. It's a P8P67 PRO bought from OcUK 12 months ago.

Got in touch with Asus who have sent this reply.

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for contacting ASUS Customer Service.

My name is Stacey and it's my pleasure to help you with your problem.

In this situation, please adjust the timing and voltage of the memory moduels according to the spec and manual of them.
If no effort, please try the latest version of chipset driver from the following URL:
http://support.asus.com/Download.as...n7.zip#Intel_Chipset_V9201015_XPVistaWin7.zip
If no effort, please clear the cmos to load default settings and try again.
If it is not helpful, you could download the latest version of BIOS for a test:
http://support.asus.com/Download.as...P67-PRO-ASUS-2103.zip#P8P67-PRO-ASUS-2103.zip
Due to the nature of BIOS update, there is certain level of dangers involved. BIOS update must be performed with extreme caution . During BIOS update process, your system must be maintained without interference or power loss to prevent unexpected damage.
If it doesn't work, I suggest you to take the motherboard out of case and keep the necessary components(a CPU, one memory in A1, a video card, a HDD in SATA1 and a ODD) onboard to re-install a new clear OS. Then use 3D-Mark only to detect the state of your devices.
If it is not helpful, please change another OS CD and test again.
If the problem still exists, if possible, please change or clean the necessary components to test again.

I have no idea how to do most of that and after already eliminating all the devices I am left with the motherboard. I have rebuilt an older system using the graphics card and all hard drives and it's working fine. New installations on the Asus board always crash and it sometimes crashes in the BIOS.

I've already packaged the board up ready to send expecting them to arrange to collect/recieve the board.

Is this standard procedure?
