Faulty card?

I recently built a new rig using the OCUK 7800gt, running at stock speeds etc. I ran 3dmark03, and found that instead of running at the advertised 400/1000 its running at 8.6/1000.

Now if I was to use coolbits/rivatuner to clock that to the advertised speeds would I void warentees. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4587009

Well to be honest i wouldn't have noticed the core clock of my card if the benchmark wasn't either higher or lower than I expected. Just to add when i ran rivatuner (without changing anything) it showed core to be 175 and memory to be 1000....
now i'm just plain confused :s And 3dmark03 showed 18000
