Faulty card....?

Hey guys, just installed a new 8800Gts, and noticed in BF2 that I get black spots on certain textures....

Played Gears of war earlier, And i believe everything was alright in that regarding artifacts and the like.

Here is a picture anyway:

i'm hoping it's just a driver bug, or better yet something wrong with the game because of the card change?

Played it on my X1900xtx the day before, and there were no artifacts.

Any ideas?

Could be a driver bug if GOW works fine as you say, but id test a few games out to see.

Yeah...Just re-installed the drivers, and it seems ok at the moment.

I'll have to try again later and see how it's looking

did you remove all the old drivers 100%

The ATI ones? As far as I'm aware yes.

Un-installed them noramlly via the .exe, ran driver cleaner numerous times, in safe mode as well.

Also ran CCleaner to get rid of anymore registry setting's.

Hopefully that was enough
