Our oven has randomly stopped working, the temperature light has stopped coming on and the oven gives no heat at all, however the hob/grill are fine.

I'm edging toward blaming the thermal cutout after a bit of googling it seems likely. I've had a nose in the back of the cooker and I'm slightly put off by the fact nothing "looks wrong." I guess I was expecting to see a frazzled sensor or something.

Anyone have an input? the genuine part is a tenner from eBay so I'm thinking give it a whirl it's only a tenner.

It's an all electric cooker just fyi, a Beko dvc5622X.

grats.
oven elements are easy to replace too :D if yours ever stops working.

grill elements look harder especially if it doubles up as a separate oven as one of the elements will be hidden under the second oven heating the base of it
