Right, before I go absolutely ape at the morons at Dell India...

I had a M1330 that broke- it was replaced by another. This one has since succumbed to the same problems (dark lines on the screen, clicking hard drive, loose hinges etc). I requested a replacement / refund from Dell which they refused. I contacted my credit card company and they chased things up but couldnt do anything.

I since sent my laptop off for repair at Dell- they have returned it without ANYTHING being fixed. It's actually worse now because they have scratched it. I included a note detailing all the problems and was reassured on the phone numerous times that it would be fixed and would be "perfect". I requested a report of what would be changed but alas nothing was included in the box upon return.

I do not want this piece of junk anymore and do not want to talk to these retarded indian call center staff for hours on end yet again. The whole company is completely incompetant and I am seemingly trapped with this broken laptop.

If I phone them up today- seeing as I have given them a chance to repair (which they have failed spectacularly and it has also been replaced once before), can I now demand a refund? It's been months and months of this being broken and I seriously cannot take it anymore. I reckon i've totalled about 6 hours on the phone about this thing struggling to make the person understand basic english and have got absolutely nowhere. Is there an english / american based customer service dept I can call?:mad:

Now that they have had the chance to repair and replace the laptop- and it is still faulty, do I have a case for small claims? I do not want this anymore and would rather Dell just refund me, but this may be my only option?

Yep- i'm ready to do some serious harm to the next Dell employee I speak to!

I have used their American center before but I think they have actually got rid of it...

I think the international support number for the UK just goes straight through to India anyway. :(

Would rather get this sorted quickly rather than through trading standards as i've already had to wait 3 months for Llloyds TSB credit card dept to give me an answer.

Righto-

I need to write a letter to the managing director of Dell UK. 10 points to anyone who can tell me who and where I should send the letter to in this case? :)
