Hello everyone
Ok so where do i start... i purchased a new pc from overclockers last week specs are;
gigabyte z77x-ud5h
i5 3570k
kfa2 gtx 680
8bg 1600 ram
2x2tb seagate hdd raid 0.
Ill start off by saying when i got the pc delivered and started it up i realised i shouldnt of asked for raid 0 option so i phoned up overclockers and they told me to just reset the cmos/take battery out mobo then restart to clear the raid o option and reset it to factory default settings etc etc which meant i had to reinstall windows and what not from scratch.
Ok no problem until i needed to reinstall all drivers which i managed to do from gigabyte website also using Driver agent from gigabyte website.
Ive managed to do this yet i now get random lock ups which are occuring quite regular now , also what happens is the computer will just randomly turn itself off.
Now after doing a lot of googling i found that i should run verifyer so it can check drivers and low and behold i get the BSOD telling me that a faulty driver on the kernal stack is trying to corrupt the system etc etc.
Ive tried looking everywhere yet most of the links is from years old forum threads with all sorts of answers to other people problems and tbh i do not have a clue where to start
When i contacted overclockers last week i also asked if they could send me the CD that came with the motherboard so i at least know that it would have installed the correct drivers for my system because although i might of installed the 'right' ones from the gigabyte mobo page i could have installed more than i needed or install some software after that thats causing this error.
I dont have much on my pc atm, maybe just a couple of programs like free AVG,itunes, steam , origin from ea which has ofc games like battlefield 3 , GW2 , steam games etc etc....i dont know what else to say driver agent says i have up to date drivers apart from one called; mb_driver_intel_bootdisk_irst_64_7series_w8 which i dont know how to install because its just a bunch of .sys files (no auto install etc).
Im stuck so does anyone have any ideas what i should do next? full format reinstall is starting to look like an option at mo and start from scratch but is that the right way to go..again? Does anyone have any programs that i could run to see which driver exactly causes this?
Other things to note i have not touched anything in bios , i do not have anything overclocked.
For some reason overclockers wouldnt send me the mobo disc as they say there old drivers and will prob be out of date anyway yet after paying £1500 on this pc i would expect everything would be sent with no arguments yet this wasnt the case with them over the phone which im proper ****ed about yet thats another story.
Any help on this would be great and just to add im currently working night shifts at mo so ill reply asap to anyone with any help on this matter.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully ill get lucky this time with a solution
edit- according to other websites verifyer is suppose to show a list of drivers on start up?!? it doesnt do this it just boots up as normal then as soon as desktop shows up it just goes to the BSOD so i cant see which driver it is.
Here is a screen shot just of the BSOD for reference http://i.imgur.com/wAMKH.jpg
Also im starting to think ive posted this in the wrong section so apologies if i have.
