Hey all,
So a wierd one here, I have a test bench setup which consists of an athlon 5370 Apu & motherboard, now I've acquired a R9 270X which I believe to be faulty, Windows installed fine and I could see artifact lines down the screen but regardless the system still ran, however once i shut down the system its unable to boot back into windows 10 again, goes into recovery and never boots back up to desktop, I've even reinstalled windows again and it does exactly the same when I shut down and restart.
The motherboard and apu is fine.. Its something to do with faulty GPU causing windows to become corrupt.
My question is, why would a faulty gpu cause the SSD to not be able to boot from windows, I've also tried a hard drive with same results to rule out a faulty ssd.
I'm unable to further test this r9 270x due to Windows keep becoming corrupt lol.
BTW removing the r9 270x does not allow it to boot, it still does not boot.
