I bought a new 9800gtx+ from Overclockers, after a month of two of trouble free use the card failed.
After being on for anything from 10 to 90 minutes the screen would go black and the graphics card fan would wind up to full. On restart I would get 1 long and 3 short beeps. I would have to turn off the computer and leave it a while for it to maybe work again.
It was not over heating and was reseated often.
It was also tried in another computer with the same results.

After returning this card, it was sent back to me with a note saying no fault was found.
I now find myself with a useless card and have been charged for the inconvenience of having it returned to me faulty.
Emails have proven fruitless.
Me and my family must have spent thousands of pounds with overclockers, but I fear they will never see another penny of ours.

For future reference when sending something back thats faulty, use the word intermittent and they cannot prove it isnt faulty based on there 10minute check... not that i would do anything of the sort ofcourse :)

In my description of the fault 'intermittent' was the exact word I used.

The letter I received back with the faulty card, said it had undergone hours of testing, yet the card is without a doubt faulty.
