Hi guys,
I've installed Far Cry 2 on my system lately and my Vapor-X 4890 isn't coming close to any benches I've seen online. I'm using the latest drivers and had similar results with older ones bundled with the card.

Settings (Ultra High no AA) - Far Cry 2 Bench tool
Settings: Demo(Ranch Small), 1680x1050 (59Hz), D3D9, Fixed Time Step(No), Disable Artificial Intelligence(No), Full Screen, Anti-Aliasing(None), VSync(No), Overall Quality(Ultra High), Vegetation(Very High), Shading(Ultra High), Terrain(Ultra High), Geometry(Ultra High), Post FX(High), Texture(Ultra High), Shadow(Ultra High), Ambient(High), Hdr(Yes), Bloom(Yes), Fire(High), Physics(High), RealTrees(High)

Average FPS: 36.77
Whereas the review linked at the bottom gets a miniumum of 45.
The only way I get higher framerates is by setting everything to high (with geom. and shadows to medium) which gives about 60fps but looks pretty horrible and has bad pop-in. Also DX10 doesn't work as it becomes an utter slide show. What do you think guys?

Here's my system:

Well firstly graphics cards aren't generally faulty because they are slow, either they suffer massive corruption or don't work at all and your system isn't the same as the one in the review. Just as an example check the processor:

Intel Core i7 940 processor (operating at 3,709MHz – 22x168.6MHz)

Other factors such as BIOS settings, updates, other driver updates can all effect the results as well.

exactly same game setting same Demo(Ranch Small)
1680x1050 with i7 920 6gb memory sapphire ati 4870 512mb not overclocked and cpu Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R Intel X58 windows 7
