Hi
Been having problems overclocking my i2500k CPU so someone suggested I run Prime95 at stock.
Ran Prime95 for 8 hours and one of the cores had an error.
Had the following error on Core 3:
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 2.213541735e+020, expected less than 0.4.
So, 1 error in 8 hours...does this mean my CPU is knackered? Would explain why an OC fails everytime I guess if it can't even stress at stock.
Can I return this for a replacement or is there some weird tolerance disclaimer from Intel?
