I have a Alu Macbook (not pro) with 4Gb Ram i also have 3year Applecare cover.
Last night my GF was using the Macbook when it suddenly froze and refused to reboot, So i took the cover off and swapped the ram about and sure enough one of the 2GB sticks is dead so for time being i'm running off the 1 good 2GB stick.
My question is how will Apple fix this for me? Will they do it there and then at a Apple shop or will they want to keep it and send it off.
Anyone been through this?
