Heya all, looking for some help before i lose it and send this monitor back!!

I got myself a BenQ FP91GX a few weeks back. All was going great until the last week or two when i started to notice some abnormality with the pixels (not just a few, a LOT of them)

during films, games, and general tasks on my computer, loads of random pixels flash red, and they flicker around manically, and its extremely irritating!

I have installed drivers, its not my graphics card as my old crt doesnt do this.

Is there anything i can do to solve this? If you need more info, let me know and ill give you it!

I hope i can fix it, dont want to have to send it off!

Thanks in advance

Sounds like dodgy pixels to me. They might be sticking, then releasing before it means to. Any way of connecting it to another pc to double check?

have tried it, still does it.

it only seems to do it on darker colours (very dark blue, darker than the forum blue) and blacks, also does it on still images.

Funny you should mention this its the same sort of thing happening on my viewsonic its been doing my nut for the past few weeks, i get white speckles all over the place , its very noticable when watching videomore than anything, im sure its my video drivers, as it was ok on xp before i upgraded to 7.2 cats, im on vista now, and same thing happens.

Whats your setup?

BenQ FP91GX Monitor.

Ive applied for RMA, and it will be getting collected on friday. Getting a direct replacement, so if it happens again, i will get a refund and get a new widescreen instead i think.
