A week ago I recieved a replacement for my Asus pg279QE monitor that was faulty and had a bright pixel problem, now after a week of owning the second monitor I am faced with the same problem yet again. I really do like the quality of the monitor itself but I am not willing to go through the process of RMA and such again and will be choosing to get a refund instead as that is also an option with the retailer I bought it from and I do not have the patience to see if i win the panel lottery. The monitor also has some pretty bad and noticeable backlight bleed which is very distracting.
Are there any recommendations for monitors to buy that are similiar in quality? I purchased the monitor for 880 euro so that will be about the amount I can purchase another one for to replace the unit. I will also accept recommendations on monitors to wait for that may be coming out sometime soon.
