Faulty Monitor

Last week (7/8 days ago) I ordered a 1440p asus gaming monitor, after completing my PC build yesterday I unboxed the monitor to begin work, however the monitor has a vertical line (spanning the full vertical length of the monitor) of stuck pixels. I would define them as stuck as they stay green, however they sometimes change colour slightly depending on whats on screen. I know that the problem is with the monitor iself as i have used Displayport, HDMI, different computers and the problem is all the same - I also temporarily moved the osd over the line and the issue was still present so the issue cannot be due to faulty inputs.

So my question is what are my options and how would I go about getting a refund. I am sure that there are more than enough pixels malfunctioning to fit the ISO 13406-2 standard. So should I issue a webticket for a faulty product and state the above mentioned issue as the issue, would that be acceptable as I am unclear if i would fit in their 14 day or 30 day policy as the product is just about a week old.

Thank you in advance for your help and time.
