Faulty power boards on some LG OLED's 2016 - 2019

They seem pretty prompt. I filled out the form this afternoon and they called me back early evening. My info has been passed on and I'll be contacted by a third party company for the in-home repair.

Just had the notification as well. Any idea if it's an in house replacement or if it involves sending it away? Mine's 65" and wall mounted, I can't really take it down myself and my mrs has a bad back at the moment.

It's an in-house replacement, takes about 30 mins. LG did say, though, that the contractors are not insured to remove wall mounted TVs, but that they will book it anyway and I can discuss it with them. Mine is using wall mounting fixtures on a floating stand, I can't remove it solo either. I told the lady for the contractor this and she phoned the engineer, got back to me and said he'd be happy to help me take it off. Just be up front about it and see what they say.

I would have had mine done already, but the contractor they use apparently got the wrong parts from LG. I'm just waiting on my new appointment date.

Thanks. I wonder how the engineer would react with my TV being wall mounted.

Excellent, thanks. I don't mind him/her helping me as long as he/she wears a mask (as will I of course). Mine is simple, it's just two string pull downs to release the latches and then it can be lifted off. I put it up myself, never again, that was a nightmare and I almost dropped it!
