Faulty Ram question.

Can faulty ram cause these problems:

1. PC not posting.
2. PC booting but restarting when loading o/s (looped)
3. PC loading to safemode but crashing after about 10 minutes.

I only ask as i've been having problem with my pc the past couple of days. I thought it could be a PSU fault but after removing both sticks of ram and trying 1 at a time it seems 1 of the sticks it faulty. I though id better check with you guys first before i replaced it though.
