Faulty ram ?

Have the Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 dual channel ddr3. Tried the two sticks seperately, with one stick everything's ok. With the other stick sometimes the PC Posts sometimes it doesn't. When it posts i run memtest for about 7hrs reporting no error. I reboot and no post again. Mobo always detects ram but when it halts at post, the ram led on p7p55 just lights red.

What about the 7hr memtest running correctly ? And about 50 intel burn tests succeeded?

can you try it in another mobo ?

Sorry I can't try on another mobo as i have no friends which have one supporting ddr3. It is really weird taht it passes tests, and then i immediately restart and it halts. But finally i don't think it is mobo because the other identical stick would be behaving the same. And yer i have the latest p7p55d bios version

Your Memtest results are a bit odd looking so you may want to try them again. Be sure to disable Legacy USB Support when running Memtest as it conflicts with this setting. Also, use the latest version 4.0 from www.memtest.org
