If there's no problem with the rest of the computer hardware, no BIOS update has been issued to deal with memory compatibility, and you're not overclocking or undervolting, then the memory is probably bad. Lots of defective memory works fine when just one module is run at a time, so don't trust it unless it's error free when paired with other memory in the same channel.
Is your memory factory overclocked? If it was made with heatsinks and is rated faster than PC10666, it probably is. Virtually everything rated above PC12800 is.
