Finally got my brand new build up and runnjng
However it won’t POST
The error code light shows as DRAM (bottom right of 4)
Motherboard is a Gigabyte B650 X AX
RAM is Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000mhz
I’ve tried one stick in A2 slot then swapped but still same issue
Only complication is I can’t get a display either
I’m guessing RAM is faulty?

There have been several bios updates since that board launched, many of which were to increase memory compatibility so it would be worthwhile downloading the latest to a USB stick and flashing using the USB flashback in the rear I/O panel. You don't need a cpu or even a display to do this, just follow the instructions in your manual.

That’s a good shout thanks

Oh wonderful!
Can’t even flash bios with Qflash; pressing pc powers up for one second then off
Holding it just loops
I’ve zipped the download onto a usb drive and using the white port on rear

Doesn’t help there’s no documentation….

Right so speaking with Gigabytes support, they gave me v4 bios
Turns out you need to remove CPU for qflash to work
So BIOS appears to have updated but still get DRAM error on motherboard
In conversation with OCUK support
Still believe I have dud RAM

have you checked if theres any bent pins in the CPU socket, or any thermal paste or dust on the pins or contact pads? same goes for the ram contacts and slots
