I got this controller as a gift at Christmas, and when I first used it I was really happy with it.

However, over the last couple of days the right stick has started registering as constantly moving downwards, even when I'm not using the stick. In games like MW3 I basically just end up with my gun pointing at the ground.

I've emailed their customer support and am waiting to hear back (within 3 days according to the email!), but out of curiosity I googled Razer customer services and have read a hell of a lot of bad things, and nothing good.

I think this is a reasonably common fault in the controller, and I'm not surprised as while the rest of it feels pretty well made, the sticks feel very flakey.

Has anyone had any recent experiences with Razer customer service? From what I gather I am expecting to have to pay for the return postage to RMA the controller myself, which doesn't seem fair.

I had the same fault and eventually got it replaced at the store I bought it from, Razer were no help at all. This is in New Zealand so you might have better luck. I sold the replacement shortly afterwards because a bit of googling uncovered a lot of problems with them and I didn't find it much better than the regular controllers which haven't failed me in years.

I am on my fourth controller now with my razer onza tournament edition. They just ask you a bunch of details about where you purchased item from etc, then you cut the cable and take a photo of the pad with the serial number and cut cable showing.

They will then send you out a replacement so there is no need to send the pad off.
