This is a known fault with the hardware, I have a friend who got lucky and it hasn't happened to him. My friend works for Game and said the company got emails notifying them of the problem and to replace any they get like that so you should just be able to keep swapping them until you get one that's good.

Really poor considering how many will be opening this at xmas.
I'm surprised by it all because ninty are usually pretty good with limited editions.

Still don't trust it. Send it to me and I get those marks on the screen or a genie will pop outI just wiped my screen and its completely clear, I guess I was lucky, sounds like Game had a bad batch - mine was from Nintendo Store direct btw.
