Hey all,
Just over a week ago I started to get screen corruption in Windows and then in the BIOS, I have a BFG 8800GTX. After swapping the ram around and trying it with only 1 stick of 1GB I was still gettin the screen corruption so I contacted BFG support. They issued an RMA for the card, I sent it to their warehouse in Wales. I got an update that the card was being replaced and to expect one in the post in about a weeks time (shipping from USA for some reason).
Anyway, the replacement card arrived today, it's the same model that I sent out to them. Within a few minutes of loading up a test game the screen corrupted and then started to flash black. I rebooted the machine and the screen corruption was still happening (standard looking corruption covering the majority of the screen). I have ran a 3 hour memory test just in case it was a memory problem but all passed.
Could it be that I have been sent a faulty replacement or do you think it's more likely to be a faulty board (or something else even)? I have contacted BFG again and am waiting for their response.
