Faulty sensor or dodgy cooling?

Hey,
Rig in my sig, it used to idle@38*c roughly. I checked for the first time in a while and idle temps are now around 50~60*c. Dread to think what load temps are.

Heatsink's an Akasa AK-922, everything's clean, new TIM has been applied, checked everything. No dice  I know some K8s had faulty sensors, could mine have developed it?

Also the heatsink feels very cool to the touch.

Cheers

Oh, I had speed fan give me temps that were about 20'c too low. It used to give same temps as openhardwaremonitor and realtemp, but then just became really wrong one day :\

The heatsink wouldn't be cool if it was at 60'c. Might be a faulty sensor.
