Faulty setting for this forum on this laptop - please help

Hi,
For some reason on this laptop all the smileys are greyed out and I can't post images. It's fine on phone and another desktop, just this laptop.

I've been through the preferences but can't find anything. Any clues?
 
It's because the post editor is in a different mode, you can change it with the buttons above the text editor

I know. :o Aye, doing fine, getting a bit fed up of retirement though so got an interview for a part time posties job on Monday :cry:. Unfortunately my brother got diagnosed with blood cancer a month or so ago so if it’s not one thing it’s another. Be pleased to see the back of this year
 
You're not in sexy edit mode. Tap the three dots at the top right of the reply box and make sure the square brackets below are black.
