Faulty Sony TV - They have offered to swap for inferior model

So a few weeks ago I posted about my Sony XE9305 having thunderflies under the screen. Against all odds Sony agreed to swap it and I took delivery of a different XE9305 last Friday.
Unfortunately this one was faulty out of the box with the panel blinking off/on every few minutes.
I've discussed this with Sony all week and today they called me and said they were authorising another swap, however they don't have any XE9305's and they will be swapping for an XF9005.

I wasn't at a computer, hadn't read about the 2018 models (as I had a darn good 2017 model) and said yup, sounds good.

So now I start to read the reviews, watch the reviews and the XF9005 is an inferior TV to my XE9305.
How do I go about solving this issue with Sony?
I'll call them up on Monday and tell them - local dimming isn't as good, peak brightness is lower, HDR performance inferior.
But with no XE9305's in the channels I guess they can take mine away for repair - which I'd accept, I've still got 4.5 years of warranty left.
However I'm told many panels these days simply cannot be repaired.
So can I fight for something like the ZD9 which is vastly superior to my TV, however that is the point - it's superior and not inferior.
There is the AF8, which occupies the price level mine was this time last year and the specification, however that is OLED, something I avoided with my initial purchase.

What rights do I have here? I, and the majority of reviews, say the XF9005 is inferior to the XE9305. So surely, legally, I'm in the right here? They cannot fob me off?

The XF9005 isn't inferior - it has FALD. I know it's a lesser model, but the XE93 can be had for less than the XF90, which is probably what they're basing it on

I'd definitely push for a better model though - I would definitely want it swapped for a XF93

However if they said it's either another XE93 or XF90, I'd take the latter

Well it is inferior - don't let the FALD confuse, the reason I picked the XE93 was because it's edge-lit technology outperforms the majority of FALD's from last year.
The XE93 has better local dimming and higher peak brightness (1400 nits vs 1000 nits) which leads of course to better HDR.
I hadn't realised that local dimming & HDR were both worse on the XF9005, with the XF only being better in the motion department - I kind of missed the announcement of the 2018 models having only just bought a 2017 model.
With the XF9005 replacing both the XE90 & XE93 I'd kind of hoped they had pitched it at the upper of the two, not the lower.

I'm not sure where you're seeing it performing better - from reviews I've checked, they seem on par (rather than XF being better).

I hadn't realised either that there's no XF93. I think the best thing to do would be to accept the XF90, unless you really don't feel it'll be as good

So, every single review has the XE93 as having better local dimming, higher peak brightness and better HDR performance than the XF90.
In fact, I cannot find a review that puts the XF90 as the better TV - with the only exception being motion performance.
