Strange problem. XP boots to user screen but as soon as I move the mouse the PC reboots, probably happens 80% of the time but if I get into windows it happens eventually. I did a long overdue clean install and after all the windows files had been copied accross I get a blue screen windows STOP error, USB does get mentioned on there. This is an 18 month old PC. I dont have a mouse to hand to try so could this be simply the mouse gone or does it sound more like a USB hub problem?

Just installed windows with an old PS2 mouse and all seems well. I will get up and running then start swapping stuff about. Just hope its the mouse and nothing on the mobo.
