Faulty Vive controller

I picked up my Vive controller today to find the right and up buttons on the touch pad not functioning. I get a positive click when pressing down and left but not on up and right.

Knowing the experience some have described with HTC the first thing I done was phone OCUK who told me to go direct to HTC.

A quick Google search for HTC UK support and I found an online live chat. I told them exactly what was wrong and within a matter of minutes I received a returns note for the controller and was advised a 4 day turnaround plus shipping.

I was surprised having read past experiences at how simple it was.

Will keep you posted but seems OK so far!

I was promised I would be contacted by the courier TNT the same week on Tuesday, I was e-mailed by TNT about 4pm on Friday so could only arrange collection for Monday. The controller has gone now, fingers crossed it doesn't take too long.
 
Returned today all fixed so less than 2 weeks from my initial contact. Not bad I guess although the status at HTC still says they have not collected it yet!
