Well, looks like my viewsonic has gone kaput

getting intermittent blank screens from it

thought it was my video card initially but swapping back to my old Dell cured the problem straight away. Problem is, the place I bought the viewsonic from 5 months ago no longer stock it! Should I go for a refund and buy something else? Or try to get viewsonic themselves to replace it with another one?

checked the cables as well? or tried using one of the other connections on the back? done a factory reset in the OSD menu just in case?

if all else fails, an RMA to the manufacturer would be best i think if it's only 5 months old and you're happy with it

Yeh I'm pretty confident it's faulty. Even when disconnected from the PC, switching it off then on again, normally you see the viewsonic logo for about 5 seconds but it only flickers on for a split second now. If you leave it off for a while it works again for another hour or two. I'd definitely rather have another one than a refund as there are few decent 1440p screens currently. I've emailed viewsonic customer services so will see what they say.

Well, viewsonic have sent a courier and swapped it on site. Good service from them I have to say. New one is working fine

although there's a backlight bleed patch at the bottom in the middle
