Faulty X-fi/Ribbon cable

Hey, just moved my X-fi Fatal1ty to my new pc... and it will not pick up the front panel. I didnt drop it or anything like that. I ran it with XP... still no front panel pickup.... it thinks its a CF00 too.. while before it was something else driver wise.

do Creative do Ribbon replacement for this hybrid piece of ****** **** ribbon cable?

Yes phone creative technical support direct on 0035314333200, and say you have damaged your X-fi ribbon cable and would like a replacement.

Ordered mine about 2 weeks ago and it came in the post 3 days ago

they do quote up to 10 working days for delivery.

The chap was friendly and good and best of all free.....

had a few problems at work with them,

its a good idea but not the best.

Yeah man, btw you have to install Entertainment center for the Remote to work.... install the drivers, and then boot up the CD again, and click "Modify installed items" or something.... and then tick the Entertainment center on the list
