faulty X-fi xtreme music, are oc open on sat ?

right here goes =
i have a x-fi and today the sound was all over the place so i went in to the x-fi volume panel & tested each speaker in turn but the rears are coming out of the front speakers too ;-( and when i test any front speaker the sound also comes out of the rear speakers a bit.
so i went all thought the x-fi contols & also the windows speaker contols too but no luck.
i have used another pci slot, no luck
i have uninstalled fully than reinstalled, no luck.
tested all the settings again & no luck ! ;-(.
tested my speakers using the output of my mixer one by one & they work ok.
tested my card out puts one by one & on the front output you can easy hear the rears so it is cross talking...... nuts.

looks like a trip to overclockers on sat as it is only 5 month old boo hoo.

is there anything else i can try ???, if not can i Rma the card this sat at overclocker's ??.

Do you have CMSS switched on?

i have used that and if i turn it on and put the slider fully to the rear the sound goes the rear speaker but if i try the front speaker the sound goes to the rear too.

and if i dont have it ticked the rear sound goes to the front speaker & rear speaker its like its leaking or cross talking !!.
i am teated the seakers by clicking on the speaker test icon & in the thx set up screen too.

i have set about 5 or more x-fi's up on pc's i have build in the past.

can i rma it on sat ???.

Yes, but you will have too book it in and it will take about 7 days i think

why 7 days can they not test it there & than !! ????

i would be willing to upgrade if the card is faulty !!.

7 days..... that is a long tim with no sound boo hoo

Theres a note up in the shop saying they cant test items while you wait.
