Faulty X1800XT?

Can someone please tell me if its RMA time? I wouldn't mind but the cards been fantastic in the 3 months I've owned it(scores over 10K on stock drivers, [email protected]). But in the last couple of days I've started to notice grapical errors in BF2, DOD:S, CSS and HL2. Thing is, the artifacts flash on my screen so quick its nigh impossible to grab a screenshot. It took 90 shots to catch this!

[/URL] Going by CCC readings the card has never reached 70c, and the rest of my system has great airflow/very cool. The card has also never been OC'ed with a 3rd party app, just CCC. Its a shame becouse I sold my XFX 7800GTX 512MB Vin Diesal ED(nasty texture shimmering)to buy the X1800XT. I'd rather of kept my 7800GTX and suffered the slightly less IQ. One last thing, unfortunately I didn't buy the card from here, the shop I bought it from no longer stocks X1800XT's. Is it true that they have to replace the card for something at least equal or better in performance? Thanks in advance.

yep, that seems to me to be a broken card

Even though where u bought it from no longer stock it they should generally be able to reorder a replacement for you, as long as it isnt too late

Yup, and if they can't get hold of an x1800 to relpace it with, then they have to give you a card equal to it, or greater than it in performance.

Thanks for the replys. I've recieved an RMA number so I'll be sending it back on Tuesday. I just hope it doesn't take to long for ? to send me a replacement. I guess my PCI 8MB Matrox Millenium will have to suffice in the meen time... Thanks again.
