fav boiled veg?

I've got carrots, broccoli, and potatos. Seems the carrots and brocolli taste better and boil quicker. What are your fav veggies for boiling and why?

Peas are about the only vegetable I will boil.

Asparagus for me, seems pretty quick to do and easy.

As above, Peas are easy to and only take a few minutes.

Except peas I hate boiled veg Ive just bought some microwave steam bags fill bag with veg steam for 3 mins and you have the tastiest veg. You also maintain more of the nutritional goodness.

I generally boil root vegetables (potatoes/parsnips/suedes) and steam 'green' veg.

I'm glad it's not just me who steams everything (besides potatoes). My Grandparents boil everything until it's some sort of baby food. I love food with some bite still.

Boiling veg is fine as long as you dont turn them to mush. Fav would be broccoli and prefer it quite soft.

Couldn't agree more apart from the broccoli, I prefer mine with a bit of bite.
