Hey everyone

Im trying to build a site just to put up a bit of a portfolio of any work i do, anyway i want a lil icon in my web browser for my site but can't seem to get one up ive tried the icon file in different directories, converted to .ico in different ways, its 16 x 16px and just no luck, any ideas anyone???

You need to put the tags in the header:

yep done that, is it possible my host is blockin it because its not a web-page accessing the .ico file??

It appears here in IE7 have you forced a server refresh? CTRL + F5

Note IE6 does not support showing favicon in address bar but Firefox and IE7 do. In IE6 you'll only see it in your favourites.
