I liked Children of Men but wouldn't put in in my top ten.

I couldn't choose a favourite film but the that I have on my badge at work is

Movie Name: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Date: 2004
Genre: Adventure / Drama / Comedy (According to imdb)
Certificate: 15
Approx Time: 119 Mins

There is just something about this film that I love, I think its Steve, the part at the end when they are all in the submarine is just great.

Other faves include

Fight Club
Sideways
Fifth Element
Ghostbusters II

I, also, really enjoy The Life Aquatic, I only watched it at first because i'm a massive Bill Murray fan (all because of Ghostbusters!) and i've seen it a few times since then, gets better every time. :)

edit; dammit...just missed that. As for Pulp Fiction, its a cult classic obviously, but i wouldn't rank it as a favourite film ever, Taratino films always rate highly but i always feel its because of the controversial subject matter in them rather than the actual story or directing.

As for mine;

Movie Name: Amelie
Date: 2001
Genre: Comedy/Romance/Drama
Certificate: R
Approx Time: 122 mins

#2 Top Gun
#3 Heat
#4 Taxi Driver
#5 Back to the Future

Star Wars Episode V was the best Star Wars film in my opinion, but it isn't in my top 10, maybe my top 20. Still a very good film.

Whoops *blush*

The Indy Trilogy:

Loved them growing up, but the Last Crusade holds a special place in my heart. Sean Connery was perfectly cast as Indy's dad, and I love the chemistry between them :D
Oh, and watching someone age rapidly was cool too ;)

Krooton, you're supposed to rate the previous persons top film :p (Why do people never get the rules to these threads?)

Noodle: The Indiana Jones Movies
The Indi movies kick butt. Action, adventure, humour... So many moments from these movies that could inspire the most timid man to don an indi-hat and buy a whip :D Extremely memorable films, the guy swinging swords around when Indi pulls out his pistol! (Cool), or the famous rolling boulder, hat under door scene parodied by the Simpsons.
Top class choice for number one :)

Krooton: Fight Club
"I am Jack's inflamed sense of rejection."
A film with a twist that genuinely surprised me, but was also perfectly plausible. A gripping and thrilling story with plenty of fighting and even the odd explosion! Awesome stuff.

My Votes:

#1
Movie Name(s): Hero (Ying Xiong)
Date: 2002
Genre: Action / Adventure / Drama / Kung Fu godliness
Certificate: 12
Approx Time: 90 mins

#2 LOTR Trilogy
#3 Fifth Element
#4 Romeo and Juliet
#5 Fearless
